POEM - MY STOMACH

STOMACH A DUSTBIN

Everyday we discard the unwanted

Throwing away in dustbin

All unwanted, spoilt rotten things

As seminarians we crave for good and tasty food

Yet at times we just fill and gulp in

Without considering their quality

Don’t we treat our stomach as dustbin?

Filling in all rubbish and unfits

Can we count how many times we do so?

Therefore,

Shall we learn today?

To keep ourselves at bay

To eat good things I say.

To fill stomach everyday, with things, good and nice.

RAPING MOTHER EARTH

Horrible act of rape to Mother Earth? Doesn’t it seem impossible or incorrect? Yes its true mother earth from time immemorial is being continuously raped by human kind, especially with the rapid industrial revolution, excessive deforestation and highly populated human inhabited cities. At mines or at oil pumping stations mother earth is pierced into to bring out the coal, minerals, oil, gases etc., daily mainly millions of oil is pumped out by hundred of oil companies – hundred of tones of coal and mineral are extracted. All these heinous acts are leaving mother earth- stripped of its natural resources and beauty.
