LIFE IN ST. XAVIERS' MAYABUNDER...

OUR SCHOOL PATRON

Since my arrival in Mayabunder Parish, 180 k.mts from Port Blair, I was told to look as caretaker Manager of the school till real one come. It was 15th May 2011 and then I was here till 20th October 2011, but again I am back since 15th May 2012 as the Manager of the School. It was rather fascinating experience last year with newly ordained spirit and zeal to work on as new adventure, without knowing what & how of things, but it was like going great. Now, enthusiam seems less, yet enjoying my work, at times heavy and at times just fun with kids, their talk and their nonesenses.

Since reopening i.e., 4th June, we completed Formative Assesssment 1 and studies goes on. on 16th a new statue of ST. FRANCIS XAVIER was installed, no official guests, but we the staff and students did the show. I gave a short life history and removed the cover, there was clap and over......
