Lionaldo

Lionaldo .....? What is this..?
The global football legends have their names for variety of reasons, but the most awaited comparison is out when they get nominated for top awards. Christiano Ronaldo of Portugal and Lionel Messi of Argentina have often struck horns for top awards. Their fan following indeed is great so is their skillful footballing sportsmanship. Wow wow.. we wonder.. to both and others for great display of artful skill on Soccer areana. LIONALDO, is a tricky name, I came across yesterday, while scrolling through facebook page. Wonderfully, I was struck at the coin of the word and name, to combine the love of both legends, Christiano and Messi for their part of names. Lion of Messi and Aldo of Christiano. Bravo... A name LIONALDO, for persons who love skills and capabilities of them. Long be their play on grounds of world stadia, and great be their names to inspire millions of youngsters and faithful audience.

oh !! What will be the Future of Great NIcobar Island..

"Trip to Galathia River Turtle Hatching Beach" was a facebook post writing of mine a year ago. Today an article published in the Times of India read 9 lakhs trees to be axed in Great Nicobar Island to give space for 75,000 crore worth project of transhipment port and other facility at Galthea Bay. A fragile nature truly will doom towards causality. It made to present the same post in nostalgic memory.
There goes a party fun and dance song in English..." If you looking for a pleasant holiday... Come to Bombay.. come to Bombay.. Bombay meri hai..". So if you happen to be in Great Nicobar, Campbell Bay, you must visit Galathia River, It is the longest salt water river of the Andaman and Nicobar Archipelago. But the main attraction and magnetism of this famous spot is known for its Turtle Hatching seasons, where the official of the wild life Forest explain and explore for us about 6 types of Turtles who travel miles to lay their eggs. The fine beaches are best suited for the laying of eggs, which are specifically collected and recorded by Volunteers. They are well protected by Wildlife volunteers of the department in Build-in Hatcheries, and when hatched by nature they are helped to swim into Ocean towards their instinctive home, which is said to be Australia and various Pacific Ocean Areas. Anyhow it's s sensitive adventure to watch to Turtles arriving in evenings and find spots to dig hard and lay eggs and protect it by digging deceptive holes as well. They seem shy creatures as upon light flashes, they retrieve their position or halt their laying process. They can be crying or shedding tears after long duration of digging and laying eggs. It must be a feeling of labour pain like in Humans. That's so wonderful, awesome and mind-boggling. So my song goes ...." If you are looking for a wonderful nature Holiday... Come to Great Nicobar.. Campbell Bay.... Galathia...Beach.."

O!! JARAWA

Your land we pass,
Your land we tread,
So natural, so pure,
Yet, we make it impure.
As I pass by, I pity you,
How pathetic, difficult,
Seems your life,
Wondering, searching for means to survive.
You look up to me in hope,
But in despair,
Your expectations unfulfilled,
You know not your future.
Secure or not you know not,
It doesn’t bother or matter you,
Yet, as I see you travelling by
I feel for you, in pity.
Why can't we give you a decent life, to live well?
As tribe of the land, sons and daughter of the soil,
You deserve a better life,
With amenities to survive.
Crores of welfare funds meant for you,
Goes unutilized or digested somewhere.
O wondering people!!
We encroach your frontier,
We finish up your habitat and food chain
Leaving you no where to go.
Thus, you beg, do barter of goods
Steal up in despair, in need
I pen up these thoughts,
In hope, that Government or NGO group,
Heed it, listening to their inner conscience,
Act out in welfare of them,
Think up to a destiny,
Do something for our people of the land.

JESUS

The gentleman who drew this is Joe Castillo.
He went to Asbury Theological Seminary. He did this during a chapel service. It was fascinating - he told the Gospel story - each part of Jesus' life – and he was drawing the story as he told the story.
We didn't realize until the end what the entire picture was. A rare talent!!!
The rolled away stone of the empty tomb corresponds nicely to where the ear would be, and the stars in the eyes provide a sense of scale for the Star of Bethlehem, which is tucked into the shadow of the nose. I think my favorite touch is using the Sea of Galilee and its mountain backdrop for the right eyebrow. Description: pen & ink drawing of the face of Jesus Christ by sand artist Joe Castillo who incorporated scenes from the life and death of Christ into the portrait making them actual parts of the face
Here’s a key to the events depicted, along with each corresponding Bible verse (which I verified separately). I found the information on this tribute site .Description: pen & ink drawing of the face of Jesus Christ by sand artist Joe Castillo who incorporated scenes from the life and death of Christ into the portrait making them actual parts of the face, with the corresponding gospel
 scripture
 passages from

 the
 Bible added
Mr. Castillo is known principally as a sand artist. The term conjures up visions of large sculptures at a beach, but what Mr. Castillo does is very different: using his hands, he draws pictures in sand spread on a light table. The images are projected on a screen for the audience. Sound intriguing? You might want to check out some video clips of Joe Castillo creating sand story art.Description: blank vertical space, 24 pixels high
What do you think? Has Joe Castillo crafted something special? Does The Face of Christ speak to you on an artistic or spiritual level? Hope you’ll leave a comment.
The 'longer' you look at this picture, the 'more' you see.

Look at the lines the artist used to draw this picture of Christ...
It is of scenes from Christ's life.
I have not seen anything like this

Share this with a friend or two.
In the Circle of God's love, God's waiting to use your full potential.
May God Bless You and Yours

ANNUAL DAY 2012-13

The 30th Annual day of St Xavier School was celebrated befittingly at St. Thomas Catholic Church Complex, Mayabunder, on 7th Feb. 2013. The CMO of Dr. RP District Hospital Dr. Suja Antony was the Chief Guest, while Fr. Anugrah P. Lugun, Director, Comission for Education, Port Blair graced the occasion as Guest of Honor and other special guests were Fr. Sajit K Toppo, Fr Charles, Fr. Santosh and Fr Amrit. They were all welcomed by Fr. Dinesh Coutinho, Manager of the School. The function began with ceremonial lighting of the lamp and welcome speech by Mrs. Phowdelesa. Then the students from Nursery to V Standard show cased their worth and dancing talents in various hit numbers.

Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest addressed the parents saying Kids are God’s gift to us; thus we must recognize their talents and give them unconditional love. She emphasized to give their wards a time of joyful existence at home. She called on to teachers and authorities to create school a second home, to let them enjoy their childhood and to prepare them for adult life. She blessed the students and encouraged them to enjoy the gift of school life by exploring the world with their happy smiling faces.

Guest of Honor, Fr. Anugrah congratulated everyone for making this day a success. He re-echoed the words of Jesus and reminded the gathering that we need to become the light, the leaven and the salt of this present times.

The Principal presented a brief report of the school highlighting the humble achievements scored. Mr. Santosh, spoke on behalf of the parents and highlighted the good work done by Catholic Church through this Primary School. He further requested the authorities to upgrade it with foreseen visionary School Development plans. He went down the memory lane to recall of old staff and praised the hard works done by them. The function ended by vote of thanks for Mrs. Carolina.
